“I got a chance to go by a cruise ship From Helsinki to Estonia along with my friends in September 2011. We took the Viking Line cruise from Helsinki Port. It’s a 3 hour journey from Helsinki to Tallinn and vice-versa.”

I did not know much about this place, before visiting the beautiful city.

The cobblestone streets are lined with medieval homes and ancient churches.

There were plenty of little Inn’s and guest houses within the Old Town, where you can look for your accomodation.

2-3 days would be a good itinerary:

Some places to see:

  • The Old City
  • Saint Olaf’s church
  • History Museum
  • Kadriong palace and Kadriong park
  • Lennusadam
  • Tallinn City Hall
  • Toompea Hill
  • Alexander Nevsky Cathedral
  • Toompea Castle
  • Raekoja Plats (Town Hall Square)
  • Epping Tower
  • Maiden’s Tower
  • Tallinn Botanic Garden
  • Kohtuotsa Viewing Platform
  • Telliskivi Creative City
